It is really well put together. I'm hooked

Wittmann
Check out your local model shop, rather than your usual software hut, There maybe a mention at www.tamiya.com My local model shop was good enough to lend me the tamiya rep's business card/cd rom, with samples on. There is a great table of penetration ranges and shot type, etc. You gotta get it! Moriarty....I may not be the first to use Wittmann, but thanks for the welcome anyway....fancy a battle? wadepm
I went to their site and didn't see any mention of the CD, but there was a page on a 1/16 scale radio controlled Tiger I with video clips. They have an optional turret you can purchase that "shoots" a laser beam that can be detected as a "hit" by another RC tank. Who needs CM now? We just need RC infantry and we're all set. Be the commander of Germany's famous Tiger I WWII tank! You'll experience the sights and sounds of this legendary war machine as you start the engine, track the enemy, set your sights and... fire! Guest machineman
A nice article on building a Tamiya radio controlled Sherman: "Model tanks are, on the face of it, a cool idea. Re-enact your favourite scenes from A Bridge Too Far, or Saving Private Ryan, or The Beast, or for that matter Kelly's Heroes, in your back yard! Crush your Matchbox cars! Tow a beer trailer! Et cetera!" http://www.dansdata.com/sherman.htm [This message has been edited by machineman (edited 11-07-2000).]
