ScottB
I was wondering if anyone out there could recommend any good reading and reference material on the Free Polish forces in NW Europe. I have been searching for awhile now, and have been able to find very little. I would appreciate any leads or personal recommendations on this. Thanks. Rupert_2
The only book I know of about the Free Polish is by the the commander of the Polish Airborne forces at Arnhem.Maj.- Gen. Sosabowski. called, Freely I Served. But is more of a biography. Someone else might know a better book... Oh..! Yes. Six Armies In Normandy by John Keegan, gives a good view of the polish troops and I think it has a good bibliography at the end papers. That's it..Sorry !
