Design Summary: I think the territories should be divided up into components that are more refined than hexes or isometric tiles. Something much smaller such as pixels would be more appropriate and would offer a fresh and more sophisticated look to the new game. Problem: This would probably make the design process more labor intensive and tedious, but I think it would be well worth it in the end.
