silentsniper Posted August 5, 2000 Share Posted August 5, 2000 I just got the demo, and I have to say it's awesome. There are, however, a few things I'd like to know. For one, I got this demo off of a CD from Computer Gaming World, and then I came to this site and saw something about a gold demo. Now mine is just called CM, Beyond Overlord and doesn't say anything about gold. So my question is, what is the difference? Do I get new missions, weapons, etc.? When you start the game, it should have a version number written in white near the bottom right corner of the screen. If it says 1.03 then you probably have the gold demo. As for ordering through the mail, You will receive it through the mail... I don't know if you can order by mail. BTS will answer I'm sure. I can't recall if anyone put the beta demo out on CD, but the "title graphic" screen that loads up on the beta demo had the words "Beta Demo" in red superimposed over a b&w photo of a tank.
