And other battlefield oddities for the wish-list:

Now, I know this wouldn't be a frequent occurrence, but...

Can we expect to see vehicle collisions at all? Can we expect to see a soft skinned vehicle, otherwise undamaged by some very scary incoming fire, pile up in the ditch? Tip-overs after taking a corner too fast? I know of at least one instance of a Sherman deliberately ramming a German tank at speed in a street fight and disabling it, (and conveniently getting inside the enemy's barrel length, making it invulnerable to return fire). I doubt LOS has much influence on accidents, or my daily commute wouldn't be held up by the daily carnage on the roads...

Can we expect to see at least temporary smoke generated in the vicinity of recently created rubble? Ever seen a building fall down? A big thick carpet of dust rolls out and up. I mention this as one of my Shermans hiding behind a house became instantly exposed by the rather sudden disappearance of its cover recently. I think he had a look on his face as if he were just caught doing something naughty in the bathroom.

Can we expect to see partial walls left standing after rubble creation? That, at least, wouldn't be too hard, would it? Just a nice randomly jagged wall and a chimney here and there to give some cover and a nice cozy ghost town appearance.

Can we expect the passage of a tank to leave a gap in outdoor walls/fences/hedges?

Sorry to be a pain.

(EDIT): Yeah, yeah, I know: Do a search, blah, blah... Only having been around for a week or so, I haven't finished sifting through the 2000 plus previous postings, sorry.

Zigster - bad news for you: it's more like 24,000 posts eek.gif

As for your suggestions, I personally like all of them, but I guess you won't see any of this for CM1. Maybe in an add-on, maybe in CM2. As far as I understand tweaking terrain in the code takes a lot of time, so it would mean several weeks delay.

YEAH! There are collisions. I witnessed it first hand. My Hellcat came down the mountain in Last Defense and a StuG assault gun was on the bridge to the town. The Hellcat came down so fast that it knocked the Stug right off the bridge!! It was cool!
