Spotting Bug (Thick Fog + Night)

Recommended Posts

Haven't seen this before. Thick fog at night so visibility was about 20m. I'd spot a Panzer IV during my turn but I could see it for the remainder of the turn even if it wasn't anywhere near my units. The tank became a Cross marker at the end of turn. Next turn, as soon as the tank started moving, the tank became visible again to me - again I was nowhere near it. Not only that but the tank also made a beeline for some of my own AFVs which were very far away and definitely not seen so my AFVs were affected by this as well. This happened throughout the entire 30 or so turns of the game.

Well, it's reproducable every time I play at Night with Thick Fog; I could not reproduce the problem with just plain Fog at night.

Here's another case, an AFV comes into view of one my halftracks at about 20m (max visbility) and then moves on beyond 20m, yet the AFV remains physically visible until the end of turn and even into the next. It was a cinch to ambush it next turn since I knew exactly its position and which way it was facing (it was an assault gun) yet it was beyond all my unit's visibility - I'm certain of that since I only had 5 units (been playing 500 pt QB Armor meeting engagements) and in between turns I checked the LOS to the AFV in question even though it was obvious it was more than 20m distant.
