Redwolf
Hi, I'd like to play two-player TCP this evening, something like me doing red attack in Team Ostle. I am waiting in irc on irc://irc.netlink-irc.org/tacops (IRC server irc.netlink-irc.org, channel #tacops) See you there. Redwolf
Bump. I would like to play and hang out on IRC as indicated above. If I do not react on IRC, please send a short mail "wake up!" See you there.
Redwolf
Timeout. I guess I better go work on that review to get some more players into the boat.
Treeburst155
Redwolf, I think some don't know how to make that IRC thing work. I know I don't. There is some software to install first, is there not? Treeburst155 out.
Redwolf
Yes, if you are on Windows, you probably want to try mirc. Red 6 just started another thread about it. It is a pretty simple network application where you specify one server, one network port and a channel. There are a gazillion of clients around and mirc seems to be pretty well-behaved (don't use it myself). The TacOps-internal chat feature is somewhat disruptive and I usually use it only as a backup.
