Hawk
To be honest I haven't bothered keeping track of the vehicles that are going to be included in CM (Hawk is now hurriedly putting on his flame proof flak-west and helmet), but I sugest you search the board and read Fionn's excellent review at MadMatt's CMHQ on TGN. That will show you all the german vehicles at least. If the above in any way insulted you, you have my heartfelt apologies, and sympathy! Fionn
I think there's actually a couple of vehicles which have been added recently above and beyond that list... Also, when you say "All models of Sherman" you are talking of 12 to 15 different vehicles . MASSIVE undertaking ... The list which is posted at the beginning of this thread is TINY compared to what's in if you listed each and every Mark of vehicle included. Guest Ol' Blood & Guts
Speaking of vehicles.... TCM (Turner Classic Movies) was playing Henry Fonda's "Battle of the Bulge" last night. I am trying to figure out what type of tank they used to portray the King Tigers. The American tanks were clearly M24 Chaffees. Which I find odd, 'cause didn't the American National Guard use Shermans for a time even after Korea? The King Tigers looked a bit like M26 Pershings. The turret looked about right, but the chassis didn't look right. (Used CombatHQ's POTD to compare.) Might have been a modified M41, but I don't know too much about Korean War era tanks. By the way, what were the tanks used by the Americans in "Patton"? ------------------ "I want you to remember that...no bastard ever won a war...by dying for his country...He won it...by making the other poor dumb bastard...die for his country."--George S. Cueball
I have it on good word they've also modeled the Ostwind and Wirbelwind. I answered your question regarding the movies in another post
kmead
M47's were used in Battle of the Bulge as I recall not having seen it in ten years or so and in Patton it was the M48A2 I believe which was a nice semi ironic touch. I haven't seen Patton since it was at the theaters in the 70's so the exact model variation might be different (not the A2)
Guest Big Time Software
OK, here is a list that I haven't touched up for minor variants. Therefore, there are more things in the game now, totally done, than this list indicates. There are also about a dozen that are in various forms of completion. So here is the list in absolutely no particular order Sherman Jumbo Cromwell H39 Pz IV Panther G (Late) Jagdpanther Puma SPW 251/1 Halftrack Stug III Jeep Shermans of all types Tiger I E Jagdtiger King Tiger Sherman 105 M10 TD M18 Hellcat Humber M8 Armored Car Panther G Early Stuart Kangaroo M36 Jackson Sherman IIc Firefly Sherman Vc Firefly M24 Chaffee StuH 42 Sherman IIa Jumbo 75 Achillies Universal Carrier (Mortar Carrier) Assault Boat Daimler AC Jeep w/50cal Nashorn Hummel SdKfz 7/1 Jagdpanzer IV Jpz IV w/skirt Jagdpanzer IV L70 Jpz IV L70 w/skirt M3 HT M21 Mortar Carrier T8 Scout Car M2/3 White SC Hetzer Churchill M26 Pershing Crocodile SPW 250/8 Archer SPW 250/1 SPW 250/7 M20 SC Sherman Crocodile SdKfz 234/1 SdKfz 234/3 SPW 250/9 Some of the models that are on my plate, off the top of my head... Marder III (late) Kübelwagen Heavy truck (all sides) SdKfz 7/2 (37mm Flak) Ostwind Wirbelwind Wespe Man, these are a LOT of work!!! We figure we have had to put in about as many man hours into the models as we did code. Well, at least the end result looks nice Steve
Goanna
OK, here's a stupid question based on the above list. Whats the difference between the SPW 250/1 or 7 or 8 or 9 or the SPW251/1 halftrack? ------------------ desert rat wannabe

The number after the slash indicates a variant mounting different weapons. The 251/1 mounts machine guns, the 251/9 mounts a short 75mm... The list is a long one. ------------------ Floreat Jerboa ! C version in the demo looks great. I hear that the final release version will look even better, I cant wait to see them. Will there be any B or C models in the game? Guest John Pender
The Monday POTD on Madmatts site shows a Sdkfz 251/7 but it is labeld as a Sdkfz 7 (un-armored veriant). Sory Steve not trying to nitpick. Take care John
von Lucke
So the only model PSW available is the 234 "Puma"? Not even one lil' ol' 231 or 222? H39 --- isn't that French? And shouldn't it be mounting a 37mm, and not just a Hotchkis MG?
Fionn
No, 3 variants of PSW are present.
