TacOps v305 Update Released.

A free update for TacOps v3 users (Macintosh and Windows) is now available from www.battlefront.com. The update download is less than 2 megs. This update includes bug fixes and user requests. This update is only applicable to TacOps v3.0.0 through v3.0.4. It is not applicable to earlier versions of TacOps nor to TacOpsCF, TacOpsMC, or TacOpsNZ.

then scroll down the page to the Patches topic line and locate the TacOps v304 download links. Click on the appropriate link and the update should be automatically downloaded to wherever your browser puts downloaded files. Decompress the file into an update folder and follow the instructions in the included text file.

v3.0.5 Changes.

User Request. Mac & Win. Enabled the display of a color miniature situation map for both Type1 and Type2 maps.

Bug Fix. Mac & Win. Fixed a rather nasty crash bug curtesey of a saved game file from Chuck Bracy. The bug occured occasionally when a SAM shot down a helo that was carrying a vehicle in a sling and where the vehicle's crew was also embarked on the same helo.

Hi Major H,

I noticed that the 3.0.4 and the 3.0.5 updates both include a new Guide des scenarios, but no new Scenario Guide. Did the French version change but not the English?

Only the file name of the French guide was changed. The file name used to have a special French accented character in it. That accented character caused installation problems on some Japanese and Chinese language versions of Windows.
