Stoffel
I noticed that some of my M1's were destroyed in a 122mm mrls salvo. While on the other hand ligth armored opfor units survived direct hits from my 155mm batteries. I also noticed that 12.5mm machineguns can knock out armoured vehicles like bmp and btr's. Are'nt that things that are impossible in real life or am I mistaking? ------------------ h.s.
Guest MajorH
They are very possible. Being in the beaten zone of an arty salvo is not the same thing as receiving a direct hit from an arty round. Tanks and APCs don't have the same thickness of armor on all sides. Their tops and rears for example are usually very thin. BTRs have very week side and rear armor. Many were lost to machine gun fire in Afghanistan. ------------------ Best regards, Major H majorh@mac.com
