Guest Moiety
What does VOT stand for? Could someone list some commonly used acronyms here and explain what they mean? I'm lost when I read half these posts. Thanks for the help!
Darwin
The first one is easy. Valley of Trouble one of the scenarios avaliable in the demo. The rest could be anything from military terms like OOB (order of battle) or HE, DF, AOC, AFV, etc to computer lingo to internet jargon such as LOL or AFAIK, IMHO, etc. Such a list would be large indeed

Guest Moiety
I'm familiar with most internet ones. It's the combat mission specific ones that I don't always know. Like AFV or whatever. Thanks for showing me what VOT and OOB meant. Any more? What is FOV? Field Of Vision?
Pax
Right. Another big one is LOS, line of sight. As for the others, its hard to say. If you're actually in the game, and tanks etc. have odd acryonms slapped on them, select them and hit return - its generally easy to deduce what they mean there. Some of the less obvious: AP = Armor Piercing, and HE = Heavy Explosive. Thats all I can think of at the moment...
Maastrictian
FOW is fog of war, that's another biggie. While we're at it, what does IIRC mean? Oh yea, and when do I stop being a "junior member?" And does that mean I'm not old enough to imbibe alchohol and play CM? <g> --Chris

Mannheim Tanker
IIRC, IIRC mean If I Recall Correctly. When I first started "chatting" online, I thought that LOL meant Lots of Luck.
