Everyone is having problems with him, he just does not have available access to the internet much, if he is still trying great, but if all the other games start coming in, we might need to pull the plug and finish them up for him. If that appears to not be possible, let me know where you stand and what the situation is. slysniper Posted August 10, 2008 Author Share Posted August 10, 2008 The first and hopefully the only this time, Redbear has been removed from the Tournament, I am stepping in to finish his games. He was appearing to be good competition, but his situation was not allowing him to play and complete the games in a timely manor. Thus he will be remembered but as all soilders lost in battle, he must now be left behind. Not to be seen again. If there is issues with any of the other matches, this is the time to report. We are already way behind in our game when compared to the other two. Yesterday I sent him a reminder. Just email me at my home and let me know how you are standing with him. It should be ok unless the situation is as bad as Redbear, but I need to know more details as to where you stand and the turn rate you have been adcheiving at normal times. Miles, it has been over a month since anyone has heard from him, so we will consider him missing in action and that hopefully the body can be found and shipped home to family. If you notice 9 games completed, one not needed now since they are both are dead and 8 remaining to turn in. Three games to complete, I am a little woried about Wittman, I have not had any reply for a few weeks from him and two games are his to finish, Contact me if he has not been sending moves. A few comments on the Summit Of the Black Brigade scenario. A one sided battle with the adverage ending at 68 Ger/30.5 allied I give Mntineer a Congrats !!! For managing a victory with that Poles, (it sure helped his score to get back up with the group) Major Tum getting a 1st place in a scenario, good to hear. He deserves a little something for the good sport he is, so he can be proud of that. I had to step into this one for Redbear, One of the few I had a chance to do something about, first thing I did was scout what was coming up the slope at me and found I was totally outclassed. I immediatly changed the defence and fell more units back into the woods to the reverse slope, it was ugly but for 5 minutes I gave Custard a hard fight and made hime pay for cresting the ridge. But as you all know the germans were not likely to be stopped. Thought I was doing poorly until I saw the other scores coming in.
