Artkin Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Jason Mark's volume 2 Panzerkrieg just dropped on his website leapinghorseman.com. Make sure to grab it before scalpers take them all and charge twice the price. The first book was excellent. 3 Quote
Artkin Posted November 28 Author Posted November 28 @George MC I know you'll be interested in this one! 1 Quote
Redwolf Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Woah. Costs almost as much as a Panzer. Any good? 0 Quote
Artkin Posted November 28 Author Posted November 28 @Redwolf Yeah I have Vol. 1, Island of Fire and Death of the Leaping Horseman and they are basically among the highest quality books you can get about the eastern front. My copy of island of fire doesn't have glossy pages which is the only downside, ironically it has the most information though. You really can't lose buying a Mark book. 2 Quote

I've read Death of the Leaping Horseman...and i agree...It might very well be the best historical battle book i have read....VERY GOOD ! Sometimes these kind of books can be a bit of a struggle to get through...Not so with this one despite being quite detailed...A easy, intresting read... Buy it ! ... I have not read the other ones but i'm sure they are great... 0 Quote

PIATpunk Posted November 28 Posted November 28 I have Panzerkrieg Vol. 1. The detail and amount of unique photographs is staggering. 1 Quote
Vergeltungswaffe Posted November 29 Posted November 29 I wonder how close we are to the day when people will no longer produce or be interested in reading rich, detailed historical accounts like this. It'll be a while, but it might be closer than we think. 0 Quote
pintere Posted Friday at 12:41 PM Posted Friday at 12:41 PM (edited) It’s fantastic to see it‘s finally being published. It took Jason a very long time to write this book, but the flip side is that it will likely be the best book on Pz.Rgt. 2 (16. Pz.Div.) between Barbarossa and Stalingrad that will ever be created. Redwolf Posted Friday at 10:23 PM Posted Friday at 10:23 PM Why is there no Panzerkrieg 1 on leapinghorseman.com? 0 Quote

As I said before, stock runs out very quickly so that's why I'm posting here lol. After that it's copies for twice the price on ebay. You'd be lucky to catch a used copy on ebay for a few years after release. 2 Quote

Monty's Mighty Moustache Posted Monday at 11:58 AM Posted Monday at 11:58 AM I justify my Jason Mark purchases to Mrs Stache by saying they are an investment and flashing the used prices at her. Works a treat! Already pre-ordered volume 2, hopefully it'll drop early next year. 0 Quote
