Combat Mission Afghanistan I cant find it anywhere

Hi everyone, I'm looking for CMA I haven't been able to find it on any digital store. I have found a listing on eBay for the Russian version of the game.  Was the game released in English? If so is it possible to find a copy of it?

Sadly, CMA has been "discontinued in all ways now", as Steve said in the Slytherin thread.

So, if you didn't already had a key in the first place, there is nothing for Elvis to dig.

I suppose they no longer wish to sell and have to support a 'legacy' game which was not totally theirs in the first place. 

It has no obvious issues on my machine which require support, but that might not be true going forward.

I'm guessing the legal intricacies make it impossible for anyone to sell the game now that Battlefront no longer exists. The Russian company that they worked with to make the game had an agreement to let Battlefront sell the game. But they had no such agreement with Slitherine.

@RootoutcastI think you can PM BFCElvis for a link to the installer. But I'm not sure he can hand out license keys if you haven't already bought it (though maybe I should let @BFCElvis answer that himself). I'm no legal expert. But I'd guess that just because there's no longer anyone with the right to sell it probably doesn't mean that anyone has the right to give it out for free.

@Rootoutcast If the Russian language version you found on ebay has an associated license key, it might be worth getting. You could then use that to activate the English language version that you can PM BFCElvis for.

Edit: I'm just brainstorming possible solutions here. Don't get the Russian version on ebay unless you run out of other reasonable options and are reasonably confident that the money you'll be spending is worth the potential risk of you not being able to get that version to work.

I missed that bit. Maybe he can give out license keys? I know he's capable of giving out license keys. I'm just uncertain about the legal bits.

IIRC the major problem is that that company doesn't exist anymore and nobody in charge of the IP component can be reached.
