PEB14
Weird stuff… When drawing a map, it looks like CM places all water tiles at the same elevation. Which means that, if you create two ponds located at different altitudes, the water in the higher ones will appear at the bottom of cliffes!!!!! Is it a well known issue? Is there a way to place water at different altitudes?
womble
As far as I'm aware, it's an engine limitation that you've encountered. There is only one level for water.
Butschi
Yes, this is known. I'd love to see different water levels. What's more weird is that you can't have rivers that actually flow downhill. Which is why CMAutoEditor corrects for that when extracting elevations. On a large map you can easily have 10m difference between start and end of a river.
PEB14
Thanks for the reply. The pond has become a marsh… Not a big issue compared to the river's one…
