The user manual has typos, the T-72 in-game doesn't use BM-12, and the T-72A (1979 model) in game doesn't use BM-15.

This is the stats for BM-15.

Assuming the M1 in-game uses Steelbeasts armor values.

https://www.steelbeasts.com/sbwiki/index.php/M1

Both the T-72 Ural and T-72A were able to penetrate the M1's turret front as well as both left and right turret front (not the weapons mount) at 100-200 meters with firing tests I made, and the T-72A's (1979 model not the 1980 one) sabot was able to get a partial penetration of the turret front at 1 km. The same long range test was also done with a

T-64A  https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatMission/comments/wr9y54/t64a_sabot_vs_m1_abrams_at_1_km/  .

This would mean the user manual is wrong and both T-72 variants tested would use BM-22.

However, all tested 125mm gun tanks were able to penetrate the M1 turret front at 100-200 meters.
