FogForever
I am playing a PBEM Black Sea game. My computer has died. I have hooked up my backup computer to continue the game. I already have BS installed on my backup. So I downloaded the latest PBEM turn and placed it into the Black Sea incoming mail folder. However for some reason, when I start the game and go to incoming turns, the turn is not displayed. Any ideas what might be the problem. PBEM game is on hold until I can figure out this problem.
Erwin
Will be interested to hear from the tech dept as I also play on multiple systems. Wonder if your new computer needs to be "registered".
FogForever
It is very odd. I wouldn't think it would make any difference what computer I played the PBEM turn as long as the game is installed. Also my replacement computer arrives on Saturday. When I get it up and running and install BS, will the PBEM turn play on my new computer?
George MC
Can you confirm that your Black Sea game on your PC is the same version as used to generate the turn? i.e. v2.10 (Game Engine 4)
FogForever
Actually it was something simple. We were playing Rolling Thunder which is a demo scenario. So it wasn't on the regular game and I needed to transfer the scenario from demo to regular game and all was good. Live and learn.

As long as the game that is processing the turn is using the same game version and the player who created the turn is using then it will play on any system.
