Small issue: Damage model seems wrong for the tank close defense system (Nahverteidigung)

I noticed that the tank close-up defense system found on Panthers, Tigers, and other German tanks seems to get damaged or taken out no matter where the tank gets hit. This seems odd, as the weapon is basically just a little hatch in the tank roof that can be opened to fire out small grenades against nearby infantry.

In my current game, I just saw this hatch on the top rear of the tank get destroyed by a partial penetration on the lower front hull. I don't see any way that could somehow knock out the Nahverteidigungswaffe. If anything it seems it should be the tank driver that should be killed or injured in this case.

same thing with tank radios getting knocked out when hits are somewhere else, or all optics gone when only 1 is damaged. After 2 years I think since a patch we have been adding many things like this so hopefully the team can fix. But there are engine limitations as well, and after 2 years we can assume it is that.
