Vacillator
I thought I did, only to find out that my 4 years old (and seemingly ancient) Intel i7 6700HQ is not on the supported list. Not sure why, as older and dare I say crappier processors are on the list. Hmmm, thanks Microsoft, great support as ever.
Holien
From what I have read this might be an upgrade to avoid as older PC might not be able to handle it. I will stick with 10 until I am forced to migrate.
MSBoxer
My homebrew PC is not eligible for Windows 11 because I do not TPM 2.0 security. This is a feature available on most motherboards made in the last 5 years. Odds are I just need to enable it in bios, not in a hurry to check.
MG TOW
Bad timing from what i understand. Windows 11 is quite beast and will only add to the processor manufacturing shortfalls if you think its a good time to get a new PC. You'll get less bang for the buck.
Thewood1
Upgraded both of my laptops from 10 to 11. No issues with any games. MSFS 2020 actually runs much better. Tested CMBN and it ran fine. Once I installed 11, within 5 minutes I had configured to look exactly like 10. There are a few menus and such moved around a little, but not a big deal.
ZPB II
While I do understand that people need to eat, it's still fascinating how many people see no issue in having a black box decide what you can and cannot do with your computer. It is for our own security, after all. Glorious leaders would never dream of misusing such control.

I think it's obvious through windows 10 that Microsoft wants to know every single little detail about you. Why do my discord messages suddenly come up in Windows? Are the end users so retarded that they can't use the discord app? There are malicious intentions behind this in my eyes. Made in China!

ZPB II
Sorry. It was tongue-in-cheek to drum up discussion.
Redwolf
All these different levels of computers we have no direct access to goes on my nerves, too. Even a simple wifi chip contains its own computer with booting OS, and it has access to your computer's main memory.
MSBoxer
It appears there are two distinct TPM implementations. If your motherboard supports it you can add a TPM module. Otherwise you can use CPU based TPM, this will impact performance to some degree.
MG TOW
Its forced obsolescence to people with 5 year old i7 systems, during a period of unprecedented integrated circuit manufacturing shortfalls.
