rocketman
See attachment. Every now and then I get this message when saving a turn in a PBEM. Most times it is resolved by trying again. Not now though. Have tried reloading the save from my oppo twice and yet cannot save my turn. Internet works and Dropbox not full (use CM Helper). Anyone knows what causes this? Corrupt save from my oppo? Workaround?
BornGinger
Could you by accident have renamed the outgoing email folder by adding a "." to the name or maybe by adding an extra space between the two words, so instead of having the folder named "outgoing email" it's now "outgoing email." or "outgoing email"? Redwolf
Are you directly saving into a dropbox drive?

Haven’t touched that folder but will check just to make sure.

CM Helper automatically puts the save from outgoing email to the shared dropbox folder. That’s what seems to be out of whack or the save received from my oppo is corrupted.
Blazing 88's
No idea if this would be related.... A direct download to the CM "Incoming" folder does not work, at least for me doing it manually. For me to be able to see and load a PBEM scenario without issue manually, I have to save my incoming email to a folder other than the CM "Incoming" folder. I then transfer the download to the CM "Incoming" folder. Doesn't show up to load for me any other way. rocketman
I was able to solve it. Earlier today I changed security settings in Windows for protected folders which is good in case of a ransomware attack. Thought only folders with .exe files would restrict access, but it was enough that the incoming/outgoing folders are subfolders of the overall "Documents" folder for the problem to arise. The weird thing was that the warning messages of file access being blocked only came after restarting the computer. So now it works.
