Richard1965 Posted April 24, 2021 Share Posted April 24, 2021 Downloaded F&R. Tried a new scenario, and all my units, German and Russian had their names changed. Like, 2nd squad 1st platoon on the German side was SU-76 and same thing on the Russian side. Also, even the scenarios from RT had unit names become screwed up. John N Posted April 26, 2021 Share Posted April 26, 2021 Richard, I have had this happen before. If you have any mods installed try removing them. If that does not work try reinstalling. That definitely is either a mod that affects “strings.txt”, like Vin’s animated text mod that needs to come out of your mod folder before install, or the install was corrupted and part or all of one of the .brz files is missing. Try a re-install, but it might take a re-download of the game. It happened to me twice over the years and both times I was lucky and it only called for cleaning out my mods folder and reinstalling.
