Actually, His Dead Puritanical Majesty is my major source of culture and example of how to proper talk right good.  I was actually mesmerized (horrified?) by the videos he linked where some crazy bald fat dude sang about his new 'motor' and his Doc Martin boots.

Maybe it was middle of the night in Blighty and his mind was obforscated or some such.

A friend of mine from across the pond is studying "Received Pronunciation" online. So just to mess with her head I sent her "Ullo John, Gotta a New Motor". It gave her a giggle.

Why not send her some Irving Welsh novels too?  ;)

"I’m afraid there must be some mistake, Rents sais. The rid-heided **** kin be quite ****** stylish, ah huv tae gie um that; he’s goat style. — There were no cards to indicate a seat reservation when we boarded the train at Edinburgh."

I found that quote here:

Which amused me.  :D

I think it's Sickboy.....Don't quote me, I'm not that big a fan TBH.

The late Iain M Banks (PBOH) did a similar thing but much, much better, in 'Feersum Endjinn'.....Wrap your head around some phonetic dyslexia:

"Woak up.  Got dresd.  Had brekfast.  Spoke wif Ergates thi ant who sed itz juss been wurk wurk wurk 4 u lately master Bascule, Y dont u ½ a holiday? & I agreed & that woz how we decided we otter go 2 c Mr Zoliparia in thi I-ball ov thi gargoyle Rosbrith.

I fot Id bettir clear it wif thi relevint oforities furst & hens avoyd any truble (like happind thi lastime) so I went 2 c mentor Scalopin.

Certinly yung Bascule, he sez, i do beleave this is a day ov relativly lite dooties 4 u u may take it off. ½ u made yoor mattins calls?

O yes, I sed, which woznt stricktly tru, in fact which woz pretti strikly untru, trufe btold, but I cude always do them while we woz travelin.

Wots in that thare box yoor holdin? he asks.

Itz a ant, I sez, waven thi box @ his face.

O this is yoor litil frend, is it? i herd u had a pet.  May i see him?

Iss not a pet, iss a frend; u woz rite thi furst time, & iss not a im iss a she.  Luke.

O yes very pretti, he sez, which is a pretti strainge thing 2 say about a ant if u ask me but thare u go.

Duz it - duz she ½ a naim? he asks.

Yes, I sez, sheez calld Ergates."

Just don't give us lend-lease Matildas in scenarios w large maps.  They are slower than walking.

I guess facing sherman-75s is better than facing t34-85s.  Though I don't know if I'd rather face a T34-85 or the sherman-76.  Those upgraded shermans give me a very hard time in CMFB.

The 76 mm Easy Eight Sherman is the best all round tank in WW 2. (My opinion) If they were given the HVAP round they would be almost on par with the 75mm L70 of the Panther and the 17 pounders of te British. The turret is fast, the gun was stabilized (tank still had to stop) optics excellent as were the radio communications. Because of communications if you fight as Germans the upgraded Shermans shoot first and are very accurate. Fight as US and be sure you get the most out of the C2. US ordnance why did they supply the HVAP to the Hellcat TDs only. In the game the 76 mm Shermans have more standard ammunitions. Yes they use the same 76 mm gun, possibly the Hellcat crews received specialist training.

Agree 100 %. According to "the Chieftan" the 76 mm AP round was more accurate than the 17 pdr. round at long ranges.

Just noted the tank commanders position in the turret door, just peeping out, looks great.

Not only looks great but the function is not only spotting but nearby infantry will pass on their intel (inside 30 mtrs). He would shoots first usually lives longer. You shoot first if you have a contact icon and the other guy doesn't.

What other Lend-Lease equipment besides the Shermans will be available? Will there be halftracks, Valentine? Valentine was used very heavily by the Russians.
And we are preparing a new field for modding - the Korean War and duels between the Shermans and the T34.
