US breach kit

What does a breach kit do in game play and what equipment does it represent? I notice it gives regular infantry a blast movement command but its depicted as a battering ram not a demo charge.  I havent had a chance to use the command in game play yet, does the squad actually batter through walls?

Breach or Demo charges work the same against walls.  A movement of a unit (possessing at least one Breach kit or Demo charge) thru a wall will bring up the "Breach" option. 

Also, unless it's been changed in an update, a full engineer squad will use 2 Demo charges - so be sure to split into teams for more economical use.

A Demo charge can be used vs troops and vehicles.

Also, in CMBS, Breach kits carried by-non-engineers, can be used to breach walls & buildings but not used against vehicles or barbwire.  Demo charges carried by actual engineers can be used against vehicles, barbwire, walls, buildings etc.
