Jagdcarcajou
Hey all, Well, I have a pretty big site update up on CM Recon, so go have a look. http://members.home.net/jagdcarcajou/ There is a new article in the PBEM section, including a unit production rarity chart for new players to reference. (The chart is in definite need of assistance from the British and U.S. armor experts, so if you see a hole you can fill, please send it over to me!) There are also some new links. Have fun, Chris ------------------ What the hell is a Jagdcarcajou?

Col Deadmarsh
Very nice start and intelligently written. I really enjoyed reading everything on your page. This is some information that us newbies can really learn from. Don't worry about the graphics. They will come soon. You did the most important thing which is to get the content down first. After all, web pages originated from Academia where content was the priority and still is on any website you go to. I look forward to seeing more of what you put up in the future. ------------------ Everything in moderation...except CM.

The Adder
Hi Jagdcarcajou, Nice site. I have a comment on the rarity tables concerning German vehicles. The adaptation of outdated, old, damaged or captured equipment by German forces was widespread throughout the war. Many conversions were made in the battlefield, and some were more "official" than others. Regarding the rarity of vehicles, e.g. only about 100 of the so-called Puma (Sd.Kfz. 234/2) was produced. However, 25 were issued to 1./Pz.Aufkl.Abt. 2 (2. Pz.Div.). So, if you are playing a battle from, say, the Bulge Winter Offensive, you would expect to find "Pumas". (You can read more about 2. Pz.Div. @ http://www.uwm.edu/~jpipes/heer2p.html ). Regarding the "Hotchkiss H-39" (German designation: Panzerkampfwagen 39H 735(f)), it was used as a reconnaissance-, command-, internal policing duties-tank and incorporated into various Panzer Divisions in Africa and France. Even this rare tank was converted further (Munitions-Schlepper 39H, Marder I (Sd.Kfz.135), 280/320mm rocket projector launcher/carrier, 10.5cm leFH18(Sf) auf Geschutzwagen 39H(f)). If you play "No Better Spot to Die" (from the ASL2CM-site), you will depend on the use of the Hotchkiss.
