I think it's been a couple years now that most browsers notify the user when an HTTPS connection can't be established. HTTPS, and not HTTP, is supposed to be the new normal for web browsing... A Canadian Cat Posted August 21, 2020 Share Posted August 21, 2020 I just visited and it did use https. I did see, on some pages, a warning that some images were not severed up via https. It's more lazy then anything else. It's not like your content (HTML/JPG/etc.) needs to be modified. It's more a matter of opening a port and sending traffic over HTTPS (aka network layer). Anyhow, no one seems to be in hurry to fix it. Chrome was the first to nag about in 2018. I think every other browser now does it too to "encourage" a more "secure" internet. There must be some additional content management going on. When I switched my site over the be fully https it was really just a matter of setting up the certificates and the redirects (so http requests went to https instead) and I was done. The only issue about that is the forum password (HTTP traffic isn't encrypted). It would indeed be good to enable HTTPS for the forum.
