Website not secure

Did you recently upgrade/change browsers? I think it's been a couple years now that most browsers notify the user when an HTTPS connection can't be established. HTTPS, and not HTTP, is supposed to be the new normal for web browsing...

I assume the billing system is adequately secured.

I just visited and it did use https. I did see, on some pages, a warning that some images were not severed up via https. The log in page was warning free as was my account and orders page as well as the cart.

Nothing serious.

It's more lazy then anything else. It's not like your content (HTML/JPG/etc.) needs to be modified. It's more a matter of opening a port and sending traffic over HTTPS (aka network layer).

Anyhow, no one seems to be in hurry to fix it. Chrome was the first to nag about in 2018. I think every other browser now does it too to "encourage" a more "secure" internet. Again, it's a 'network' rather than a 'content' thing.

I am aware. There must be some additional content management going on. When I switched my site over the be fully https it was really just a matter of setting up the certificates and the redirects (so http requests went to https instead) and I was done. Everything being served up on each of my sites was just covered by default.

Its probably not a coincidence that the message popped up just as the service provider updated the discussion forum. Seems there's still a few i's left to dot and t's left to cross in the update process.

Afaik the forum has always been non-ssl. The only issue about that is the forum password (HTTP traffic isn't encrypted).
It would indeed be good to enable HTTPS for the forum. It may require battlefront to get a specific certificate for community.battlefront.com and install it in the forum/webserver software.
