waffelmann
The syrian paratroopers have still 100 ammunition...
Holman
Something to be aware of: If you manually chose the install location and you pick the "C:\[whatever]\Battlefront\Combat Mission Shock Force 2" folder (as you should), the installer will put the new files in a second internal folder (which will be "C:\[whatever]\Battlefront\Combat Mission Shock Force 2\Combat Mission Shock Force 2"), so the game won't see them. Be sure to double-check your destination folder when installing. The other installers from today don't do this.
Zveroboy1
Nice. What about Syrian airborne though? You couldn't pick them in quick battles or something. I forgot what the exact issue was with them.
Aquila-SmartWargames
Great, the Dutch campaign can begin.

Zveroboy1
Oh I see, patch notes don't tell the whole story then. This is great. Good job!
Tuthorn
The Marine light armored recon battalions no longer have crewmen in most LAV's. In all the line platoons the scouts have been put in the crew slots and the battalion commanders also don't have crew in their LAV's. The mortar and AT LAV's seem fine though.

Zveroboy1
Yes only 100 rounds of 7.62X54R for airborne PKMs, that's disappointing. For mech airborne, they can acquire more ammo from vehicles but the pure infantry airborne are a bit screwed.

If you've already installed it, you can copy the files from the nested patch location (the second "Combat Mission Shock Force 2" folder) and move them into the same folder in the original CMSF2 location. Don't copy/move the folders: just the files inside the folders. After all the files are moved from the nested CMSF2 folder into their correct location, you can delete the nested CMSF2 folder. (Or, just delete the nested CMSF2 that was installed with the patch, and redo the patch, this time dropping the "Combat Mission Shock Force 2" from the installer location.) Gkenny
Unfortunately it seems that in the The Khabour Trail Campaign the non mechanized Canadian infantry sections are still missing a man (7 man sections vs 8 as they are supposed to be). Just confirmed by checking the first mission.

I know the original German campaign had missions with intentionally understrength squads.
Ghost of Charlemagne
The smoke launchers on the T-72AV and T-62M models are still missing. How come the T-72AV-TURMS doesn't have smoke launchers? Edited July 19, 2020 by AtheistDane
MeatEtr
Guys double check the version at bottom right to ensure the patch installed correctly! Should say 2.03 (BFC) If not then follow c3k's instructions. Quote you can copy the files from the nested patch location (the second "Combat Mission Shock Force 2" folder) and move them into the same folder in the original CMSF2 location. Armorgunner
A Great game, got even better. A lot of things changed, thats not in the Patch notes . Really enjoying it, and absolutly worth the wait!
DougPhresh
BMP-3 seems to use airburst even against buildings and bunkers. Unbuttoned BMP-3 air guards have their weapons slung on their backs, cannot fire from vehicle. Gill behaviour is still extremely weird.

DougPhresh
It seems to be acting more like a bottom attack missile than a top attack. I'll take some screenshots if I catch it in the act again.

One launch landed on the engine deck of a tank behind the turret. Setup two quick battles, getting about 50% hits in all. 3 of the misses were at long range at the edge of the map and overshot slightly landing behind the vehicle. This doesn't seem anything out of the ordinary to me.
DougPhresh
I see that I had the wrong install location for the patch. Gill behaviour is much improved. My mistake. The BMP-3 behaviour is the same as reported upthread. Oh and at a certain distance, the smoke dischargers on the BMP-1P appear to be floating above the vehicle.
