MichelNey1806 Posted May 2, 2020 Share Posted May 2, 2020 I am trying to reinstall CMBN on my Windows 10 HP rig. the game installs with no problem from the digital download that i bought, but when I try to run the game nothing starts ansd i get an error message, to wit: UI not found. please check that you have the proper UI resource files. In the meantime, if it worked before (since you're reinstalling it) it may be as simple as a pausing/suspending your antivirus during install, or creating an exception for the executable? Schrullenhaft Posted May 2, 2020 Share Posted May 2, 2020 CMBN 1.x will NOT work with Windows 10. The copy-proctection system used with the 1.x versions is what is incompatible (and the source of the error message that you're getting). If, for some reason, you're using individual installers, then at a minimum you will need the 2.0 Upgrade installed before you can actually activate any license keys. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
