Actually, on this point I agree.  Neo-Nazi is a specific and loaded term that has all kinds of baggage that goes with it.  I live in an area with a large right wingers around and I don't think of any of them as Neo-Nazis.  Would be Fascists?  Some of them, though most are (honestly) simply not intelligent and/or informed enough to know what the results of their political views would ultimately lead to if not checked by the middle and the left.  Ignorant is a better term for most people on either political extremes IMHO.

I've had my share of run-ins with true Neo-Nazis and far more with right wingers.  While there might be a lot of commonalities in philosophies, which shouldn't be surprising since one is a more extreme version of the same mindset, they are not the same thing.  Same thing with liberals being labeled Communists.  Very few liberals would be even remotely happy under Communist rule.  Casually tossing around labels doesn't help anything.

For the record, I do not consider you a Neo-Nazi.  Right wing and offensive at times?  Yup, absolutely you've managed to establish that on many occasions.  Even if an argument can be made that positions you take offer comfort and encouragement to those who would push people into ovens, that still isn't the same thing as being a Neo-Nazi yourself.  Words matter and I do think it's important to not use a term (especially a loaded one) inappropriately.  Therefore, next time someone calls you a Neo-Nazi you can ping me and I'll give them a talking to.  Though I expect I might also have to give you a talking to at the same time as there's usually something you've posted to cause that sort of accusation.  Meaning, if you don't want to be incorrectly called a Neo-Nazi it is advisable to not post things that could give people that impression.

Steve

I think that's a very fair and accurate comment in all respects.

I enjoyed Steve's little Scandinavian skit. It reminds of the time I got decidedly drunk on John Martin's Guinness with a member of Swedish Rock Against Racism in a bar on the Rue St.Denis. He was the personal manager of 1/4  of a popular beat combo, and consumed rather a large amount of snuff. Ah, we were all so much younger then.

Wow: I´d say that this thread suddenly got interesting.

I could of course contend that we danes are actually not loudmouthed at all, because we´ve always weeded out the noisiest of our brethren by placing them in boats and pointing them westwards. But that might cause a bit of noise from folk like @Warts 'n' all and mr @Battlefront.com himself, so instead I will wear the loudmouthed label as a bagde of honour and work twice as hard to live up to it. Of course I expect this to provide me with a permanent forum ban immunity – as I am ethnically predisposed for loudness 😁

So no, I wasn´t offended by Warts´ post – I laughed. But perhaps I´d have frowned bit, if I hadn´t been familiar with him and his sikh sense of humour. He is, after all, a subject of our former western colonies. ;)

A bit more on-topic:
I think it goes beyond saying that I consider CM the best game around. That doesn´t mean that I think it is always perfect. I started this thread because I was both surprised and frustrated by the team´s blindness -and because I though it might be something bug-ish that BFC would like to know about.

So: Peace y´all – and remember us in your prayers:

Umloud

In my younger days I did rub shoulders with Sikhs on anti-Nazi demos, and was glad to have them on my side. Regarding my sense of humour, well it's a bit like Marmite (you have to be a Limey to get that one).

As for being a subject of your great empire, my dad's family didn't get here until the 1500's, and my mum's not until the 1930s, so I missed out on that one. But, my two nephews did have a band called King Knut with a couple of their mates. Meanwhile I hope that you are staying safe and well on your side of the Dogger Bank.

One golden rule of thumb I've learned and live by is this , "You can't trust trees!". Or any foliage for that matter, all foliage is squirrely and unpredictable when spotting is concerned.

Or, as John Otway put it. "Bewars of the flowers, cuz I'm sure they're gonna get you yeah".

Actually I quite like Marmite and cucumber sandwiches using rich creamy butter and that lovely soft white sliced bread (Warburtons?) that we can't eat any more as we have been told that it is killing us.

Warburton's Medium White is £1 a loaf at our local Iceland. So someone is telling you porkies. Although to be honest I was always more of a Bovril on toast man myself. I'm not sure where @umlaut stands on the great Marmite vs Bovril debate, perhaps he'll let us know later.

Wasn't referring to the price lol.  I meant that we're told that processed white bread like that is actually killing us.  My wife goes out of her way to buy genuine Lithuanian and Latvian (sometimes Russian) dark Rye and other similarly expensive "artisan" breads (whatever that means).  God I miss white bread...

Send me PM and I can give you secret address to send to me...

I think that's expensive way of saying that a baker in an actual bakery baked the bread.

What is true though is that they add a lot of sugar and other stuff in most 'factory' (white/brown) baked breads. If you eat a lot of bread, it doesn't hurt to buy better breads. There is actually well tasting (although, taste...) quality bread and it is indeed more expensive than the casino white or whatever it's called here. Although it won't kill you if you get some now and then, for toast & scrambled eggs or whatever. They are great with melted cheese in between too. If you're allowed out to the store (by wife and or government), go for it! 😜

Alas, I am not sure either, as I must admit I haven´t had the good (or perhaps ill?) fortune of coming across either product during any of my many visits to your lovely country. But ever since my first visit (back when "Never Mind the Bollocks" was just an itch in Malcolm McLaren' s wallet) I have been a beans-on-toast afficionado. When we returned I would stare hungrily at my dad´s "The Who Sell out" album. :)

Beans-on-toast is by the way the only time when I prefer wheat based bread over rye, @Erwin Proper rye bread is generally the one food stuff danish expats say they miss the most.

Once again:
The issue is this: They dont even see the effing tank!

I would like to state to the community, please include more than 30 seconds of video when complaining about things. Either make a longer video, or give a complete text description of what happened, and why you think it happened. If possible, re-load a save game, and try again to see if the result is different.

Try taking off the cover arc and running the turn again. Try moving a shorter distance using quick, and giving a face command. Then, include all of these results into a longer video so we can all see a more complete picture of context.

Posting 30 seconds of video, and saying "ugh, this doesn't look right! wtf!!!!" doesn't help anything at all.

Nor does your comment. Knowing Umlaut he investigated this situation very thoroughly before he posted it. Apart from that everyone can still do as he damn well pleases at this site. Just discuss it, or if you think it's nonsense, don't discuss it.
