noxnoctum
It used to be any gunfire or a partial spot would halt a unit's movement. Now it seems that it requires a full spot? I had a unit keep moving while under fire for a full 15 agonizing seconds. If it was changed, is there a way to order it so it is "soft"?
SlowMotion
I noticed a case when my vehicle drove by a spot and after a moment enemy infantry opened fire from behind. The vehicle did not stop immediately like usually happens with Hunt. Not sure if this was because the vehicle was trying to move further away first or was it some kind of change to how Hunt works.
noxnoctum
Yeah my situation was with infantry which made it even more noticeable. Edited December 11, 2018 by noxnoctum
MikeyD
Higher fanaticism levels, I think, will keep them on their feet longer. I once joked that an 'Elite Fanatic' is willing to stand his ground and die for his country. A Green soldier with low morale not so much. There's a downside to boosting morale levels too high.
Rokko
I've noticed this as well and don't think it is linked to the motivation setting. Seems more like a bug to me. Troops on hunt should not continue moving when fired upon and I'm pretty sure that did not use to be case.
DougPhresh
I agree with Rokko here. Troops on hunt in the other titles hit the deck if they are fired on.
MikeyD
Its about not knowing the source of the incoming fire. They were told to move forward until the enemy's spotted and that's what they're going to do, dammit! That's a fanatical mindset for you.
