Few things I have been working on for your gaming pleasure! Still have work to do for the full RT mod but this was a nice change of pace and theater. It's the early stages but I have be

You just released a GIGANTIC mod for SF2 but that was two days ago. So, what have you done for me lately, Mord?       Mord.

Long ass day of modding. Spent another four hours on the damn German Armored Infantry and still didn't get something I liked! This is what I did manage to produce after I gave up and moved on.

Well I finally recovered, picked myself up off the floor and bandaged my head where I hit it on the counter when I fainted upon seeing this. Mord you are DA MAN.

Kinda explains my radio silence over all these months.

There's a big pic here if you haven't seen it already:

Below is the CMMODS IV description for this huge, awesome mod created by @Mord.  If you don't have it, you need it.  At the very bottom is the link to get it.

Description: This is a huge collection of over 1700 hand made unit portraits (done in my new style) for your CMFI Base Game, Gustav & Rome To Victory Modules. There are many styles to select from; plain backgrounds (Summer/Sand, Autumn/City, Winter/Mountains) to flag backgrounds, to four styles of portraits representing all the US, Brit, CW, Italian and German divisions that fought from Sicily all the way up the boot. This will help scenario designers, QB enthusiasts, and historical accuracy nuts make their gaming experience more realistic, exciting and authentic. I’ve been working on this since October of 2018 and am excited to finally have it done! Hope you like it.

  • 1 month later...

Hi! These look great. I'd like to use the "F flag patch" portraits if only I knew how.

So I unzipped the downloaded file and dropped the "F flag patch" folders (G folders for the Germans?) into my z folder, but nothing happens. Then I dropped all the single files into the z folder, directly, putting them all together without their F folders and still nothing happens. I know my z folder is the correct one as I use a modded splashscreen and it works fine. I must be doing something wrong.

Do I have to rename files? Do I have to use rezexplode and rezpack (that would be a bridge too far for me I'm afraid)?

Sorry, old fogey here. Thanks for your help.

Keep the folders with your unused mods. And just use the individual file or files you need. And remove whatever comes after the _

so it appears like this e.g       portrait usa infantry

Do the same for armour, airborne etc

i too am having issues getting these to work, in normandy i can get most to work, regarding the altering of the names i may have found a fix but haven't been able to try yet, working on italy at moment and i've picked the few i like, just the generic ones without any divisional markings. and just the large flags. but nothing shows, i have the names showing as follows, luftwaffe airborne infantry etc
