Moonpie Posted May 15, 2000 Share Posted May 15, 2000 But I just played the Gold Demo yesterday. I played the Alpha demo a few times when it was first released and have periodically dropped in here. I was playing chance encounter and by the end of the battle I was wondering where all the damn infantry was coming from! As the battle went on, more and more seemed to show up in the forests, until...... I looked closely at them and saw they were Dead Bodies! What happened??? I thought that BTS swore that hell would freeze over before they put bodies in the game. Why the complete 180???? What about the mantra from Fionn, that the frame rate or some other such gobbldy gook, PREVENTED this??? Enquiring minds want to know. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The bodies are a "maker" to show where that particuar unti was "eliminated", it was the only practical thing they could think of. It is very helpful when trying to figure out what happened to that shreck team you just sent around the flank and was ambushed by a mg when u werent looking.
