markus544
May I propose "Combat Mission Fight for Survival CMFFS. Israeli Defense Force vs Syria, Egypt, Jordon, Lebanon and Iraq and am I missing some other country. I think politics may have something to do with fact that I will probably never see such a game, but boy would like to have those tank battles in the Sini desert and canal areas. Oh what about Golan Heights Valley of tears...or valley of death. T-62 vs Centurian or M-48 Patton
Xorg_Xalargsky
Ooh, if we're proposing new CM games, here's my pitch.Combat Mission - Tropic Thunder Never go full Yankee
Sequoia
You may propose anything you wish, and I doubt you'd be surprised you're far from the first to propose something with the IDF. Politics may indeed have something to do with it, but I think it's mostly to do with the BFC team's interest and the sales potential.

DougPhresh
I am excited to see them close out the war on all three fronts. Who would have thought Fortress Italy would be first to the finish?

MikeyD
The '72 (Yom Kippur) war might be the least 'politically sensitive' of the batch to pursue, not to mention with the most even balance of forces. Everything else is a political hot potato. differing factions would become enraged and offended at the least little error in the history, they'd get even MORE mad for being too historically accurate!
Hapless
CMFFS would be an unfortunate acronym, though I'm sure we've all felt it

DougPhresh
Garth Ennis found a way to combine Warsaw, Blitzkrieg and Israeli tankers. If you haven't read War Stories, or Battlefields, check them out! Garth Ennis is obviously a history buff. He also wrote a series about the Tuskegee Airmen.

Gkenny
Gun looks a bit long for a T-34/85, is that a T-34/100 Prototype?
markus544
Now that you mentioned it the barrel does look bit longer. I did not know they had 100mm guns on the T-34 or tried them out. T54/55 had 100mm weapons did they not?
Gkenny
Yeah if I recall they made like 1 or 2 prototypes with the 100mm gun on the T-34 near the end of the war. And yeah the T54/55 tanks had 100mm cannons.
markus544
That's interesting... and guns kept getting larger... 125 mm on their T-72 models and there subsequent replacements.
