Each press of P or click of 'Pause' initially increases the duration; 10secs, 20secs, 30 secs, 45secs, 1min, 1min15secs, 1min30secs.

The next press/click will keep the unit paused until P is pressed or 'Pause' clicked again (I find this useful in real-time).

One more press/click in the same order phase will turn Pause off completely, resetting the unit to normal behaviour.

That was surprisingly hard to explain.....Basically just keep pressing P or clicking 'Pause', you'll soon suss it out.  ;)

Don't forget there are 2 'pause' buttons to confuse matters further:

1. Pause button immediately below 'action screen', part of a group of 3 pause/cancel/evade; this 'pause' button will ONLY do a permanent pause.

2.Pause button that is integrated in the order/movement subpanel in special action; this 'pause' button will do the variable timings on multiple presses.

Infantry staying in cover would be great. Too many scenarios are thrown off by infantry running out of trenches and foxholes to get smoked by a BMP-3's 100mm ABHE.2779_12-auto_downl.jpg

As an aside, is the BMP-3 ERA supposed to have turret ERA under the spaced armour?

2....

This one is most useful for removing pauses without having to cycle through the entire option list. :)

No. That's not spaced armor, those are rubber flaps that serve the function of making it more difficult to lase the vehicle as well as providing better anti-HEAT protection by ensuring that the warhead hits at an oblique angle.
