Peter Cairns
A bit off topic guys (and girls) but how much of this stuff can people identify? BBC report on Interpol weapons seizure Peter
c3k
Sweetness! But, 10,000 weapons and only 80,000 euros? Man, that's only 8 euro per. If only I'd known... Pretty impressive.

They may well have had millions stashed away elsewhere. Plus additional income when the weapons in the warehouse would be sold. If they'd sold at better prices they wouldn't have been caught with all that stock on hand! (Or against shoulder? ) I'm currently in the market for a home defense mortar. Guess Spain is where to shop.
IMHO
@c3k, do you look for last season models? VAT refund required?

I should think an AGL would be a better choice, albeit keeping it supplied with ammo is apt to be a bit on the costly side. Maybe you could work out a deal with somebody at the local NG armory. Home Defense BioChem is cheaper and the raw materials are easier to get eg: cabbage.

Yeah, but you have to eat a whole lot of cabbage if you want to be prepared at all times. You might be better off to acquire a pet skunk. Erwin
Yeah, a goose or two (for noisy alarm) and a skunk should do the trick for ideal and green Home Defense. Cheaper and less likely to have a short circuit or get hacked.
