Trigger based reinforcements?

I've been fooling around with AI triggers in a scenario i'm building, and the one thing I can't seem to find is if there is a way to have reinforcements arrive via a trigger? because at the moment the only way I can think to have this happen is to extend the map back and hide the "reinforcing" units in some woods. which isn't horrible, it's just less than ideal.
