Definitely him. The White Donkey was a masterpiece. A childhood friend that enlisted on 9/12/01 and was a grunt in Phantom Fury II said the book he could smell iraq. He said it captured it very well except for PF 2 which he said was unlike the rest of his deployments because it was the worst most intense high tempo time of his life and he lost the most of himself and friends there.
