__Yossarian0815[jby]
In a QBagainst Ukrainians:the T72B3 is more than enough, unless you are going for very long ranges >2500magainst the US: T90am, faster spotting makes the difference. You can actually go head to head against the abrams and get lucks at very long ranges where hitting the target isn´t guaranteed for either side.
Stagler
I do believe the M1A2 SEP v2 sees something like this.http://i.imgur.com/zS9I3RV.jpg Edited March 13, 2016 by Stagler
Vanir Ausf B
Anecdotal note, as I did not record the game, but I just had a battle as UKR v. RUS. Oplot, elite, hit a T90A FOUR TIMES, at about 600m distance, same direction, within about 10mins. Front to front. T90 finally shot back, nailed it. I checked the T90A later, all four hits were either front glace or turret. Now, I know the 90 is a tough tank, but a sabot, 4000m/s round didn't go through like butter at 600m??!Whats the max close range for Era to stay effective? Because this blew my mind. I've taken out Abrams at that distance, with T72s. ERA effectiveness is not range dependent.Ukrainian tanks use ammunition that was state of the art 30 years ago while Russian tanks use a modern sabot round.
Kinophile
Oh man. They have no modern ammunition?
Vanir Ausf B
My recollection is that all of their sabot rounds are Soviet leftovers.
