Nidan1
I received an email today from Twitch indicationg that some unauthorized access may have happened on my account. The email recommended that I change passwords on other accounts linked to my email address as a safeguard. I know a lot of members here visit Twitch TV to watch ChrisND's weekly stream. This is just a heads up.
Davek555
Got the same thing yesterday Nidan when I visited Twitch. Had to change my password. I don't think they have any sensitive information like credit card numbers or anything.

Canada Guy
I reset my entire account in Twitch but when I go to look for Chris' channels, nothing shows up. I see past posts but when I click, it says that the video has been removed. --- OK, do not capitalize the ND as it does not show his account. Very strange behaviour for a search tool.
sburke
yeah it made the news. Account info exposed but they weren't clear how bad. Update: GamesBeat got a copy of the email Twitch sent to accounts it believes were compromised by the attack. The email warns that the user's email address, password, "limited credit card information," the most recent IP address used to access Twitch, and certain biographical details, if provided, were exposed. "While we store passwords in a cryptographically protected form, we believe it's possible that your password could have been captured in clear text by malicious code when you logged into our site on March 3," Twitch told the users.
