ChrisND
We'll officially announce the Black Sea manual tomorrow, but in the meantime, I'm attaching the Black Sea manual to this post. Enjoy. This is the Supplemental Manual, which has the info that is unique for Combat Mission: Black Sea. The Game Engine Manual V3.0 will release with the game. Note: To keep the file size down as a forum attachment, the PDF images are lower quality than the official/printed manual will be. Macisle
Congratulations Chris. This is a tremendous amount of work and sure to be an invaluable resource for folks wanting to learn Modern CM. Big +1. WWII-ers like me should really study this awesome resource to help get up to speed. Otherwise, we might make too many air-ors .
MikeyD
A valuable resource for those of use who aren't entirely sure what a 'Pchela-1T' is.

antaress73
what is the function of commander's video in the sub-systems panel for the T-90A and T-72B3 tanks ?
Michael Emrys
A valuable resource for those of use who aren't entirely sure what a 'Pchela-1T' is. Ain't it the truth! I have never felt so swamped by obscure acronyms and designations in my whole life. After the end of the Cold War and ODS I slacked off on modern developments and now I find myself paying a price. There was a lot more going on in those decades than I realized. Michael
LukeFF
what is the function of commander's video in the sub-systems panel for the T-90A and T-72B3 tanks ? It's a screen showing a digital GPS combat map. Kind of like the U.S. military's Blue Force Tracker.
LUCASWILLEN05
Thanks Chris. Looks like CMBS is almost ready for publication judging by previous BF performance! I look forward to playing it very soon.
stealthsilent1
So are they using m2hb's or m2a1's, it's not clear. And on the vehicle defences screen, does the small bullet icon include .50 cal guns?
Mord
Thanks, Normal Chris Dude! Big +1. WWII-ers like me should really study this awesome resource to help get up to speed. Otherwise, we might make too many air-ors . Or better yet, AAR-ors? Mord.
AttorneyAtWar
The manual is great Chris, I pretty much read through the whole thing and learned quite a bit from it, especially things I (stupidly) thought I knew all about.
Macisle
Thanks, Normal Chris Dude! Or better yet, AAR-ors? Mord. He-he. (Chris will understand my odd wording. It's referencing a really dumb question I asked him recently.)
akd
what is the function of commander's video in the sub-systems panel for the T-90A and T-72B3 tanks ? Should be a multi-function display at commander's station with video relay for gunner's primary sight/thermal viewer. Commander can observe gunner's view or take over gun from his station. (This one is a bit tricky as I believe on some other vehicles it denotes an independent day/night video camera for commander, e.g. MGS and BTR-4E.) Jargotn
I suddenly feel so exclusive! All the details, I think I know what I have to do on the modern battlefield! That is until I get the game.
Holman
Thanks for making this available for download! A PDF is much more comfortable than the in-browser flip-book display.

jhmorneau
Thanks for sharing! BTW I spotted what might be a typo on page 28 : shouldn't the yello segment be labelled "Quick" instead of "Move"?
panzersaurkrautwerfer
I'm glad there was an explanation for the US APS considering that no such thing has managed to enter service yet. Excited to see M1A2 SEP v2s in a game too.
stealthsilent1
There is one thing that's vague, you don't have a screen which shows armor weakness against armor piercing rounds, did you simulate that in the game?
