Chris Jenkins
Two out of every three German Infantry Platoons were led by SSGs. Will the random leader selection engine take this into consideration? ------------------ Climb to Glory!
Guest Big Time Software
Actually, all three platoons were commanded by a sergeant. The officer (usually a lt.) would generally assume command of one of them. When he chose to switch to command a different squad the sergeant would become leader of his squad once again. Moon
Is it possible that Chris meant a Staff Sergeant with SSG?
Guest Big Time Software
Eh, probably But since rank is just for visual purposes only, I figured he was talking about the practice of having 2 squads commanded by their sergeants while the third was under the direct command of the platoon CO. We simulate this, but do not have the HQ attach itself to any one platoon. Steve
