Rex
I can't seem to view the new videos. I've got quicktime 3.0 loaded, but whenever I try to show the movies, I get a "unable to find appropriate decompressor" error. Then the audio comes through, but no video. What am I doing wrong? Moon
I am not sure if this is the ONLY way to do it, but it worked for me... download the newest version of QT (which is version 4) from www.apple.com .
BDW
Yeah I had this same exact problem. I realized that Mediaplayer was trying to open my quicktime files. So what I had to do was go into the "View" then "Folder Options" and reassociate .mov files to Quicktime 3.0. If you don't want to hassle with that, then open Quicktime movie player first, then choose file open and play the movies that way. hope that helps. Guest Big Time Software
BDW, this issue was brought up by the DoJ during the first phase of the anti-trust suit against MS. MS argued, of course, that it is Apple's fault, while Apple argued that MS did this deliberately. You be the judge Steve
