Great clubs, and after used as such, they'd still work fine. Otherwise, in game, within 80m with effectiveness getting better closer. For God sake don't instruct your SMG guys to 'area fire' a suspected location. Eleven guys firing roughly a thousand rounds per minute equals an ammo-free squad inside of one turn. At roughly 75 meters, they'll chew through any equivalent formation in under a turn. Within 30 meters, its pretty much a meatgrinder for long pig. Oh yeh, good point. For God sake don't instruct your SMG guys to 'area fire' a suspected location. Eleven guys firing roughly a thousand rounds per minute equals an ammo-free squad inside of one turn. Vergeltungswaffe Posted April 19, 2014 Share Posted April 19, 2014 All the answers prior assume he's asking at what range the SMG squad effectively kills and I agree that's likely what he wants, but it is worded just ambiguously enough that he might be asking what's the optimum range to kill Soviet SMG squads.
