AT Teams Firing From Buildings In 2.11

Recommended Posts

So what are people seeing now that AT teams can fire from buildings?

Are the buildings prone to fires from backblast? Is it worth it to use these teams in structures or should this be reserved for only emergency situations because of the repercussions of doing so?

No fire yet in the game so that is not a concern at the moment. Good point though. Fire will change things a bit will it not?

I don't have experience with firing rocket AT weapons indoors my self yet. So far all my MG urban games I am either the Brits (no rocket AT weapons) or am fighting against British Paras (no need for rocket AT weapons).

I've had a 2 person bazooka team fire from the top floor of a 2 story building (right flank of Green Hell map in the valley from Ami perspective), neither team member was injured but both were "pinned" for the remainder of the turn and part of the next turn but managed to get off another shot before losing contact.

I've had an entire squad marked yellow as wounded when the shreck guy must have let loose with his AT weapon inside a building. He was firing at Brit paras down the block. Sorry, no saves. They were not taking fire so they couldn't have been wounded that way.

Probably a good idea to break the squad to separate the AT boys and then put them on a different floor from the rest of the squad or hide them behind the building.
