Pocus
Hi, My son is modding Brute Force scenario, he does a save as after a few modifications, and then test it. Then everything is super slow, map scrolling, AI (he has checked fast AI), animations, etc. Anything that rings a bell for you? Perhaps a scenario must be compiled before being saved? Hubert Cater
Hi Pocus, The Editor really shouldn't slow the game down the way you've described... the only thing I can think of is that perhaps the video memory has been stolen by the Editor that the game is now running slow. I would suggest shutting down the Editor and the game and then trying to run it again after that to see if you notice any improvement. A reboot might also help but that is only a last resort. Pocus
Hello, This might be unrelated, another app was also slowed down and a major cleaning fixed it. I'll keep you posted if it happens again. Thanks for the attention anyway.
Big Al
If you have Norton or McAfee running in the background your PC will be way slower. Those two anti-virus that usually come with cable modem, DSL, or a prepackaged PC are not very good and huge hogs.
