Yeah I already read the Wiki article. I'm more academically interested right now for a class. I read both Wiki articles, and I'm going to start a book on the Marne in a day or two. Seems ok as a book. I just wanted to delve a little deeper, and I don't have a book handy for Tannenberg so..

Citino's "The German Way of War" and "Quest for Decisive Victory" both cover the Tannenberg campaign in some detail, although neither book is narrative history. Citino says "the preemminent book on the Tannenberg Campaign is Dennis Showalter Tannenberg: Clash of Empires (Hamden, Conn.: Archon, 1991)."

Van Creveld "Supplying War" discusses the logistics involved in the Marne Campaign in 1914 in quite a lot of detail.

Your university library should provide you access to JSTOR and other similar repositories. Doing a search for 'Tannenberg 1914' should throw up a number of useful journal articles.
