I was wondering which one was the best for a person new to this series but also had a healthy amount of people to play with via PBEM (also the most fun one!) Thanks! LongLeftFlank Posted November 2, 2012 Share Posted November 2, 2012 No, CMSF is an earlier edition of the engine and is staying that way although ImHO the changes are not massive. Lack of hideable entrenchments in CMSF is the only one that springs to mind. Make sure you get the latest patches for both games.
