Chris Jenkins
If we can save as scenario, can we then change the map in the editor, so as to keep the same troops? This could be used to keep the same company through a campaign. ------------------ Climb to Glory!
Guest Big Time Software
You can edit and re-edit a scenario as much as you like. This includes redoing the map and/or troops. But there are built in limitations to Campaigns. You will not be able to have campaigns on different maps; one campaign, one map. Mind you, the map can be HUGE, with each battle taking place on just a fraction of it. The FAQ, as outdated as it is, has more info on this. Chris Jenkins
Does this mean that we can create campaigns? If so, what are they like (how many battles, ect.)? ------------------ Climb to Glory!
Guest Big Time Software
In the editor you can do whatever we can. Not sure about the specifics of campaigns yet, but the same logic applies. In other words, we are going to use the SAME exact tools that ship with the game. There are some things that you will NOT be able to do. For example, you can't create your own vehicles, tweak existing ones, or muck around with squad weapon allocation. All of this, for a HUGE number of reasons, is closed off to the end user. But not to worry, there will be more stuff in there than you can possibly imagine. If we miss something important, or make an error, we will fix it with a patch.
