Albe Pavo
Hello! I'm playing "Scottish corridor" campaign, first mission. Two times i used my FO to call an area fire support from the 25pdr howitzers. Both times the shots do not fell inside the target area: why so inaccurate? The first time all shots fell just before the target area (looking from the FO point of view, with some lucky shot felling inside the nearest part of the target area. The second time all shots fell away, out of map, i could say about 300m away from target. Do you have an idea about the possible reason?
Glukx Ouglouk
Did you select "emergency" as the type of mission ? If so, the mission is fired without spotting rounds and can be wildly inaccurate.
stikkypixie
Do the FOs have a good field of vision to the target?
Fizou
Do the FOs have a good field of vision to the target when the spotting rounds are falling? No smoke or so to obscure during spotting rounds impact?
Albe Pavo
I choose emergency fire! Ok, i understand: no more emergency fire! There are other differences between the different firing solutions?
Boche
nope, the rest just change the rate of fire.
Albe Pavo
Thank you! I'm waiting the boxed games with rulebook: when i will receive it, i will read it carefully, so i will have no more problems like that!
stikkypixie
There is a pdf manual so you won't have to wait
IanL
Use the PDF rule book because on another thread we were all just reminded that there is no hard copy of the manual shipped with the disk.
