Sergei
I have always had a soft spot in my heart for really fast tanks, and Brits and Poles had one very special offering in Normandy in this regard: the Cromwell. It's just about as heavy as a Sherman, but thanks to its Rolls Royce Meteor V-12 fighter engine it has a better max speed and power/weight ratio than a Stuart! And it comes with either the 75mm OQF or 95mm howitzer, so it's not a peashooter either. Maybe it's not a super tank, but it's a superb tank if you want to run circles around your enemies. What's your favourite? Webley?
ZPB II
I'm fond of the Achilles, 25 pounder howitzers, Vickers MG and the 2 inch mortar. Lovely kit, by Jove!
Sergei
The 2-inchers do come handy - especially in laying some nice smoke to cover the advance. It's a big difference to the US 60mm mortar that has no smoke shells.

No problem, thinkest I, I'll lay down some smoke from my mortar ... uh guys ... guys ? Who forgot the smoke shells this time ?
xian
Playing against the AI (which I usually do well against) and got surprised by 2 fast moving Cromwells - boy, those things shift!

It's a big difference to the US 60mm mortar that has no smoke shells. They are virtually the same diameter almost? 2.33 inches is pretty much 60mm. is it just availabilty of rounds becase I would not see much difference in ordinace load. Although the US 60mm mortar is just a tad bigger. Not sure what the difference would be, could someone elaborate more? thanks:)
akd
White Phosphorus ammunition for the 60mm M2 mortar (m302) was not introduced until very late in the war.

7thGalaxy
I had fun playing with a recon platoon- Daimler/staghound Armoured Cars and lots of Universal Carriers. I especially liked the acquirable mortars in the UCs.
