  1. https://seryjvolk.livejournal.com/140101.html rus raport And now the most interesting: the tanks belong to the 62nd Guards Tank Regiment of the Breakthrough from the 8th Guards Tank Corps. Of these, a separate company of captured tanks was formed, the company commander - Guards. Art. Lieutenant Sotnikov Mikhail Nikolaevich, born in 1916 And earlier, these three PzKpfw V "Panther" tanks were part of the 5th SS Panzer Division "Viking". Captured in the battle on August 18, 1944 near the city of Yasenitsy, in full serviceability by tankers of the 2nd tank battalion (the permanent battalion commander - Hero of the Soviet Union Guards Captain Potapov) of the 59th Red Banner Guards Lublin Tank Brigade. On August 18, the 3rd tank battalion with attached self-propelled guns of the 301st Guards Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment and a motorized battalion of submachine gunners of the brigade, leading the offensive, entered the forest southeast of the village of Krusze, with the task of bypassing the city of Tluszcz , cutting the highway Radzimin-Jadow (Gmina Jadow) , to drive a wedge into the enemy's defenses. /cm. scheme No.-16/. In order to fend off possible enemy counterattacks from the Tluszcz region and from the forest southwest of the Borki manor, the brigade commander decides to throw his reserve, the 2nd tank battalion, into the Jasienica-Borki region. The battalion approached Yasenitsa (Jasienica). The battalion commander, Hero of the Soviet Union Guard Captain POTAPOV, is advancing with three tanks to the Borki manor. A signalman who came across said that enemy tanks were coming from the forest behind the railway embankment. Guard captain POTAPOV quickly made a decision, deployed the battalion and, having disguised the tanks at the houses, began to wait for the German tanks. The enemy wanted to cut off the 3rd tank battalion with a strong counterattack from two directions, and then destroy it . "Panthers" from the "Wiking" SS Panzer Division come out from behind the railway embankment and from the town of Tłuszcz. 9 of our T-34s entered an unequal battle with 18 enemy heavy tanks. The first "Panther" was hit from the battalion commander's tank. Helplessly lowering the barrel, she stopped under the bridge. It was a signal for our tankers. We had the advantage of surprise on our side. Our tank warfare masters took advantage of this perfectly. The left group of enemy tanks was no more than 400 meters, and the right group no more than 800 meters. Our tankers chose the target and hit it for sure. It started to get dark. Specially assigned fighters "marked" with our tankers with white rockets the direction of the departing Panthers. Before the massive German fire could damage us, 6 Panthers were already on fire. And 4 more were disabled. The rest turned back. 3 of them, turning, got stuck in the swampy ground, began to slide. The "notorious" SS bandits left their tanks and, saving their own skins, rushed to escape. From 21.30 (18.8.44) by force of up to 10 tanks and on foot from the side of Tluszcz and at the same time from. edge of the forest fl. (farm) BORKI 8 tanks attacked e.g. BORKI, with the task of cutting off the MBA and 3 TB that went to the zap forest. fl. BORKI. The counter-attack was successfully repelled by 2 TB tankers from ambushes. diagram No. 14/. At the same time, the enemy lost 9 burned and destroyed Panther tanks and left 3 tanks in good condition, which were evacuated, repainted, equipped with ammunition and sent on the order of the guard. A few days later, the captured tanks successfully fought as part of the 62nd Guards. CTTP…”
  2. i think this russian report is about evening fight with 8th company panthers. And that's what they are in the picture. At that time, the 7th company was in the forest of Dembina. Late in the evening, the 7th company tried to break out of the encirclement.
  3. hay .....So in that verbal garbage appears to be an attack by 8 enemy tanks which were ambushed by Soviet AT(?) guns and all were knocked out. It confirms the embankment and the rest stuck together in the forest (which correlates with Fluegal’s account of them remaining in the Debina woods)..... this statement is very possible and logical.
  4. Sorry, I didn't translate. In this place, between Jasienica and the Borki farm, there were still burnt panthers, in the river bed there was a panther from No. 811. in my opinion, these are the panthers from the description of the book "Panzer Wiking", which they lost during the night breaking out of the encirclement. places match the description in the book. At the viaduct in Jasienica, 9 wrecks of panthers were 100% damaged, three of them were incorporated into the Russian Brigade without damage. On August 18 and 19, so much was happening that the Germans did not incur their losses on a regular basis. 3 km further, in Krusza, there are places where 6 panthers and three tigers were planted.
  5. Próbowali przejechać pod tym wysokim nasypem kolejowym . To bardzo wysoki nasyp około 7 metrów wysokości. Tu gdzie żółte kółko została zniszczona pierwsza panther , reszta zniszczona przed nasypem .
